Delivering for Clark
- Continuing the redevelopment of the Royal Hobart Hospital Redevelopment, including an expanded emergency department;
- Investing in a new Public Diagnostic Breast Care Centre and Cancer Wellness Centre;
- Delivering 27 new mental health beds and a new eating disorder facility at the St John’s Park Health and Wellbeing Precinct;
- Building a new 40 bed Older Persons Mental Health Complex at St John’s Park;
- Investing in the Northern Access Road, enabling further activation of the broader Macquarie Point precinct;
- Delivering the revitalised Cosgrove High School and Hobart City High
School campuses; - Upgrading facilities at Princes Street and Rosetta Primary Schools as part of our Building Blitz Program;
- Delivering new Park and Ride facilities at Claremont;
- Investing in a Innovation Hub in Hobart, supporting founders of innovative, high-growth businesses and potential start ups;
- Upgrades to Princess Wharf No 1 Shed, a key event venue on the Hobart waterfront;
- Upgrading facilities at the Taroona Bowls Club;
- Supporting our multicultural communities with ongoing support for the Multicultural Council of Tasmania;
- Expanding ferry services along the River Derwent at Sandy Bay and Wilkinsons Point;
- Iconic events supported through the Budget including Dark Mofo;
- Investment continues into the Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy to further develop our circular economy and reduce waste to landfill; and
- Supporting the Hobart Women’s Shelter Amelie House and the Bethlehem House Facility.
